SHOP UPDATE - HAND CRAFTED CANVAS PRINTS NOW AVAILABLE!

Welcome

Hey there! My name is Dominic Reardon. I am an Award Winning photographer from the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria, England. I specialise in landscape and astro photography and love nothing more than being out under the stars and capturing incredible dark skies! Whilst landscape and astro are my main passion, I can still provide a range of photography services and will work with you to provide the best content for your website/social media or even if you have a particular image in mind that you'd like captured and printed to fill that empty space on your wall at home! Don't hesitate to get in touch via the contact page or Instagram and I'll be happy to help!

Prints

Prints can be purchased via my portfolio. Selecting a gallery allows you to enter the `shop` section; here you can choose your print type and size, then pick an image. Alternatively, you can browse my work first then whilst viewing an image, you have the option to 'quick buy' a print or browse all options in the shop. Prices range from £24.50 for an A3 poster to £250 for a 75x50 mounted and framed print. All prices include postage! Framed pieces use 2mm thick acrylic instead of glass. Acrylic looks the same as glass but is shatterproof, therefore safer in transit, All products except canvas use 290GSM Fujifilm Pearl fine art paper and are printed, mounted and framed professionally.

Hand crafted canvas prints are now available with 4 sizes to choose from, prices ranging from £55 - £150, postage included!

Sunrise at Ribblehead Viaduct! - 26/11/25

Story:

WOW what a morning this was!

I woke up to the lovely sound of a 5.30am alarm and didn't have a particular plan in mind so I started looking at webcams and checking cloud forecast in local areas, it had been pretty clear for most of the night but a lot of cloud was meant to come in from the West in Cumbria, both high and low cloud which could've meant either an epic colourful sunrise or absolutely nothing if the low cloud ruined it and blocked the light.

I decided to drive away from Cumbria and head for Yorkshire with the idea that, based on the forecast, I should still get some high cloud and a lot less low cloud and it proved to be the best last minute plan I could've made!

When I arrived, the whole of Ribblehead was actually hidden behind thick fog which was a huge surprise and I thought it was gonna ruin the shot but about 5 minutes before the sun came up, the mist disappeared rapidly leaving just a little bit at the far end of the viaduct which you can see in this image.

What a scene it was when that light hit! Some of the most intense golden light I've seen in a long long time, absolutely epic.

Equipment:

Nikon D500 | Tokina 11-20 f/2.8 | Fotopro Tripod

EXIF:

Single exposure | ISO 100 | f/11 | 1/15 sec | 11mm

Edited using: Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop

“I’ve worked with Dom on a number of occasions now, being both on the shoot with him and also working with him remotely.

He’s always been able to get the shots I’m looking for while adding in his own creativity to produce a wide variety of other great images, too. He has a meticulous attention to detail and has always edited our photographs exceptionally well. He’s always been happy to spend extra time on shoots if conditions change or things take longer than expected and I trust Dom to be able to get the images I need on every assignment, and to deliver them in a timely manner.”
